Hussain Nawaz granted A-Class

RAWALPINDI: Mr Justice Ali Hasan Rizvi of Accountability Court here on Monday permitted A-Class category to Hussain Nawaz and put off hearing of his case till March 21.

Advocate Ashtar Ausaf Ali, the defence counsel of the accused Hussain Nawaz moved two applications requesting for facilities of A-Class category during jail lock-up and permission for meeting with his family members.

The defence counsel complained that his client was yet to be provided with substantial material relating to the case.

When defence counsel raised the issue of detention under section 24-D of Ehtesab Ordinance the court observed that this issue has been discussed in detail and judgement in some of the cases have been reserved for announcement on March 8 and 9.

The court also ordered for compliance of its previous directions in connection with provision of two newspapers.

The court observed that accused may be shifted to Lahore to face trial in Ehtesab reference.
