CE satisfied with law, order in Sindh
KARACHI: Chief Executive, Gen Pervez Musharraf, has expressed satisfaction over the prevailing law and order situation in Sindh, at a meeting held at the Governor House on Monday. The meeting was attended among others by Corps Commander Lt Gen Muzaffar Hussain Usmani.
Later briefing the newsmen Sindh Governor Azim Daudpota said the Chief Executive was very happy at the law and order situation.
He also lauded improvement in the situation pertaining to cleanliness and traffic in Karachi, governor said.
The governor said he apprised the Chief Executive of the needs of he province with reference to the development projects.
He said he informed the Chief Executive about the 100 MGD K-3 Water Supply Project. There are three to four feasibility reports about this Rs five billion project that would take two to three years to complete.
About desalination plant, the Chief Executive said that if feasible this may be installed.
Azim Daudpota said he thanked the Chief Executive for helping in the settlement of Sindh's dispute on electricity bills with Wapda.
The governor said that the matter pertaining to Left and Right Bank Outfall Drains is also being resolved.
He also talked about the matter pertaining to the wheat subsidy. APP
