Over Rs 5.6m to be spent on hospital in Chakwal

LAHORE: Construction work on Mines Labour Welfare Hospital at Choa Saiden Shah, District Chakwal, has been started and is estimated to be completed at a total cost of over Rs 5.6 million.
It will be completed in the next one and half years, said a spokesman of the Mines Department here on Saturday.
This hospital will serve the mine workers within a radius of 50-60 kilometers as well as the local population of Choa Saidan Shah, where a large number of people related to the mining sector will also be able to benefit from the hospital.
Technical committee responsible for procuring hospital equipment will comprise Chief Inspector of Mines, Punjab, Medical Advisor Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI), Chief Medical Superintendent (PESSI), director works, Workers Welfare Board Punjab, medical superintendent of Mines Labour Welfare Hospital, Khushab.
