stress on adopting quality standards

LAHORE: The speakers at the concluding session of 7th HVACR conference and exhibition have stressed the need for adopting international quality standards for the manufacturing of various products related to heating, refrigeration and air-conditioning industries.

The three-day conference was organised by the Pakistan Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Industries here at a local hotel.

An exhibition was also arranged on this occasion in which a large number of stalls were arranged by various companies.

Addressing the conference, Chairman Pakistan HVACR Society Lahore Chapter Azeem Ashraf who was also the organiser of the conference, stressed the need for Pakistan to pace with other developed nations in the fields of HVACR.

He said that the main challenge before Pakistan HVACR Society is standardisation of all HVACR products and services in the country. In other countries, he pointed out, protection of environment has become essential for every industry.

While talking to Business Recorder Prof. Dr. Maskeen Ali Hijazi, Media Adviser, HVACR Society Lahore Chapter, said that a large number of HVACR members from all over the country participated in the conference and shared their views and experiences for the improvement of heating, refrigeration and air-conditioning industries.
