Aluminum rods, bars excluded from CGO

ISLAMABAD: Two locally-manufactured items of machinery have been excluded from the Customs General Order (CGO) for the purpose of concessionary notifications.

In this regard, the Central Board of Revenue (CBR) issued CGO No. 8/2000 on Saturday.

The CBR has excluded these items through an amendment in CGO No. 7/98 issued on March 24, 1998.

The two items are aluminum rods and aluminum bars that were placed under PCT heading 7604.1010 and 7604.1020 in the CGO No. 7/98.

Engineering Development Board has decided to exclude aluminum rods and aluminum bars from the Customs General Order regarding concessionary notifications and CBR has implemented the decision by notifying on Saturday.
