Business low on seed,

grain markets

KARACHI: A few changes transpired on the seed and grain markets on Friday, where volume of business was stated to be low.

On the whole rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh new inferior type lost Rs 10 to Rs 790 but better type gained same amount to Rs 835. Basmati new lost Rs 25 to Rs 1,900 and better type lost Rs 50 to Rs 1,925. Super basmati old inferior lost Rs 75 to Rs 2,325 and better type lost sharply by Rs 200 to Rs 2,500.

Groundnut Punjab dropped Rs 25 to Rs 1,000 and better type conceded Rs 50 to Rs 1,300.
