LAHORE: Punjab Chief Secretary Hafeez Akhtar Randhawa said that Aitchesonians were effectively contributing to the development of the country.

He was talking at the annual prize distribution ceremony of the college here on Friday. The students who showed extraordinary academic performance, were given trophies and merit certificates on the occasion.

Hafeez Akhtar said that Aitcheson College, was not only providing best education to the students in information technology and other scientific subjects, but it was also making special and concrete efforts to make the students decent and thorough gentlemen.

He said he has sentimental attachment with the college as he had studied in the college.

Earlier, College Principal Shamim S Khan in his address of welcome said that Hafeez Akhtar was a prominent student of the college.

A special memorial trophy was also given to the mother of a late student Irfan Zahid.
