ADB annual meeting from May 6

ISLAMABAD: The Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) will be held in Chiang Mai, Thailand from May 6 to 8.

The draft agenda of the meeting includes: annual report for 1999, financial statements and independent auditors' reports, ordinary capital resources, special funds, allocation of net income, budget for 2000, resoures of ADB, place and date of forthcoming annual meeting and officers and procedures committee for 2000/2001.

The opening session will take place on May 6, while business sessions will be held on May 7, and 8.

Thailand had proposed to host the 33rd annaul meeting of the bank in year 2000. APP
