ICCI launches industrial survey

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry has launched an industrial survey in I-9 & 10 and Kahuta Triangle in collaboration with Fauji Foundation Institute of Management and Computer Sciences.

The survey is meant to facilitate government and other concerns to boost Pakistan's bilateral trade and industrial production, says a press release.

Since the establishment of Pakistan no organisation has gathered information covering manufacturing industries located in these sectors.

Graduates of Fauji Foundation are taking up this task under the supervision of their experienced faculty and carrying out door-to-door survey with the help of a simple proforma designed by the R&D section of the chamber.

It is one of the projects undertaken by the ICCI with the funding of Friedrich Naumann-Stiftung (FNS), a German Foundation. The survey will be completed in 60 days.
