Haq denies removal

of Nawaz from

party leadership

ISLAMABAD: The Chairman of the Muslim League Coordination Committee, Raja Zafarul Haq has denied reports about removal of Nawaz Sharif from the party leadership and grouping in the party.

He also expressed the hope that verdict of the plane conspiracy case would be in favour of Nawaz Sharif.

About a meeting chaired by Mian Azhar during which party leader expressed their mistrust in the leaderships of Nawaz Sharif, he said infact that was an Eid Milan party.

He said that some invitees consulted him and PML leader whether they should attend the meeting or not thinking that there should be no grouping in the party, they were asked to attend the meeting but in the party, some people uttered such assertions.

"In a big party, the people have the right to have their opinion. But the matter is not so serious as is being presented," he maintained.

When asked to comment that in the meeting the PML leadership was held responsible for detracting democracy, he said in PML (N) meetings, a number of people presented their analysis, there is no single opinion on this issue and every one considers one or the other fact responsible for it.ÑPPI
