Asia tour

ISLAMABAD: Chief Executive General Pervez Musharraf left on a week-long foreign visit to four countries. His tour will include Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Brunei.

This tour is aimed at promoting economic relations with South East Asian countries. A foreign office spokesman said that Gen Musharraf will also discuss security in South Asia and also the need to seek some solution to Kashmir dispute.

He will also try to seek support for Pakistan's membership of ASEAN and for the full right of Pakistan to speak in the organisation.ÑPPI
