No big Opec differences, deal hopefully Monday

VIENNA: Opec oil producers do not have big differences on how much extra oil to supply from April when export curbs expire, a senior Gulf source said on Sunday.

"There is no big difference between Opec producers on output. The goal is to have a stable market and to have supply matching demand," the source, familiar with Saudi thinking, told reporters in Vienna.

He said Opec hoped to finalise a deal on Monday on the first formal day of its ministerial conference here in Vienna.

"There are many numbers being debated. We will finalise the number hopefully tomorrow," he said.

He said while sanctions remained on Iraq it was too early to reintegrate Baghdad back into Opec's output quota system.-Reuters
