JI to launch cleanliness campaign

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan will join hands with local bodies institutions to launch a countrywide campaign for making each nook and corner of the country neat and clean.

This was stated by Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmed while talking to newsmen at the occasion of First International Diabetes conference at Aiwan-e-Iqbal on Saturday.

Qazi said that lack of cleanliness and awareness about diseases are two main reasons behind the increasing diseases in the country adding that JI will use its strong and disciplined force to change the existing culture of pollution and poor sanitation conditions.

His party believes in serving the masses without seeking any political advantage, he said. APP
