RECORDER REPORT
FAISALABAD: The Army monitoring teams will launch a campaign against vehicles plying on city roads with open letter and transfer here from June 1, 2000.
Javed Ashraf Dar, Director Excise and Taxation Department, Faisalabad division said here on Saturday that the objective of this action was to discourage anti-social elements. However, he has asked the owners of vehicles having open transfer letter to get these vehicles registered in their name positively before June to avoid any punitive action.
He warned that no vehicle with open transfer letter would be allowed to ply on the city roads after May 31, 2000.
