KARACHI: All Pakistan Textile Mills Association has denied that it is prepared to accept restriction on export of Yarn.

In a statement issued by Aptma on Friday, Convener of the Central Managing Committee, Abid Farooq denied having made any statement to Javed Chinoy, Chairman Pakistan Ready-made Garments Manufactures and Exporters Association regarding the preparation of Aptma for restriction on export of yarn "provided that the Trading Corporation of Pakistan agrees to sell cotton to the spinners at Market prices."

"Aptma is not ready to accept any restriction on export of yarn at any condition. Any representative of Aptma has never made such a statement, which is contrary to Aptma's official position on the subject," said the press release.
