'Kashmir dispute may
be solved with
third party mediation'
ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Abdul Sattar has said that India and Pakistan could not resolve the 52 years old Kashmir dispute without a third party mediation.
Talking to Voice of America (VoA), foreign minister said, strengthening of peace in South Asia depends on solution of Kashmir issue. The only solution to this problem is possible through third party mediation, he added.
He said, if the conflict in the region is to be resolved, that would be possible through third party mediation. India and Pakistan have never resolved any important problem through bilateral means.
Sattar said, "We hope that being a sole super power, the United States would pay a decisive role in solution of this problem".
He said, Pakistan do not have any concern regarding increase in American cooperation with other countries. "We will discuss what cooperation Pakistan and the United States can have".ÑAPP
