Changes transpire in
tea, milk, kirana on

RECORDER REPORT
KARACHI: Some changes transpired on the Jodia Bazar on Wednesday amid accelerated trading activity. Variations were seen in tea, milk powder and kirana.
Tea from Kenya PF-1 A grade was quoted at Rs 214; BP-1 A grade was down by Rs 3 to Rs 225; B grade shed Re 1 to Rs 216; and plus C grade was down by Rs 4 to Rs 205. D-1 A grade dropped Rs 3 to Rs 229; B grade shed same amount to Rs 215; and plus C grade down Re 1 to Rs 196.
Powdered milk: Skimmed Haleeb rose by Rs 50 to Rs 2500 and Poland rose by same amount to Rs 2325.
Kirana: Black pepper was quoted at Rs 13800. Black pepper from Singapore was quoted at Rs 13900 and same item from Ceylon lost Rs 1000 to Rs 13,700. Big cardamom rose by Rs 100 to Rs 17,900. Isbaghol bhoosi was quoted at Rs 780. White alum dropped Rs 100 to Rs 1300. Cuminseed was up by Rs 100 to Rs 3250. Darchini was up by Rs 25 to Rs 4175. Almond Irani was up by Rs 200 to Rs 8,200. Apricot was up by Rs 400 to Rs 2400. Apricot II was up by Rs 200 to Rs 2000. Dry dates dipped by Rs 100 to Rs 1800.
