CPC urges KMC

to check milk

adulteration

KARACHI: Consumer Protection Council (CPC) has urged the administrator of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation to direct the mobile health laboratories to check at least 20-30 samples of milk daily to curb adulteration.

During a meeting with the KMC officials, the Council advocated need for controlling adulteration in milk which was a great health hazard .

Haji Sikandar Nagori, President, Dairy Farmers Association has agreed to provide a mobile laboratory fully equipped to check adulteration in milk on the spot, says a press release issued by CPC on Wednesday.
