LEAD invites
applications for
training course
ISLAMABAD: The Leadership of Environment and Development (Lead-Pakistan) has invited applications for a fully-funded national and international training on environmental issues.
This fully-funded opportunity is designed for those young professionals, who can demonstrate the potential for being the next generation of decision-makers, opinion leaders and agents of change.
The Lead mission is to develop, and sustain a global network of leaders, who endeavour to promote change toward environmentally sustainable and socially equitable development.
Each year, Lead-Pakistan offers leadership training opportunities to 15 young persons, who are selected as "Associates" from business and industry, NGOs/development sector, academia, media, military, and federal, provincial and local government institutions.
Upon selection, the Associates immediately join a dynamic community of international leaders committed to the agenda of change for sustainable development.

The last date for receipt of applications is April 3, 2000.
The applicants should be in the age group of 28-40, a university graduate with minimum seven years of high quality work experience, and possess qualities of leadership, seriousness of purpose, altruism, integrity, energy and motivation.ÑAPP
