PSIC recovers 28m from defaulters
OKARA: The Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC), has recovered an amount of Rs 28 million from its defaulters. Stating this, PSIC, Deputy Director, Mian Ali Akbar said that the corporation has launched a vigorous drive for the recovery of outstanding amount from defaulters. He warned that the defaulters who failed in clearing their dues will have to face auction of their industrial units. Efforts are being made to recover the remaining outstanding amount of Rs 20 million from defaulters, he said.ÑPPI

Madho Lal's Urs from 25th
LAHORE: Preparations are afoot to hold the annual Urs celebrations of spiritual leader Hazrat Madho Lal Hussain. The three days Urs celebrations will start from March 25 and till March 27. Devotees from across the country will participate. The Provincial Auqaf Department has allocated necessary funds to hold the Urs in a befitting manner.ÑPPI
Special radio programmes on Hazrat Usman (RA)
ISLAMABAD: Radio Pakistan will broadcast special programmes to pay homage to Hazrat Usman Ghani (RA) from March 23. A series of three exclusive seminars would also be aired on the national network. The first seminar entitled "Hazratna Usman (RA) Kay Fazail" will be aired on March 23 at 1.20 p.m., the second "Aihad-e-Usmani" will be aired on March 24 at 3.30 p.m. while "Aihad Usman Main Inqelabi Iademat" will be broadcast on March 25 at 1.20 p.m. In addition, all PBC stations will also air special programmes in the regional languages, on the death anniversary of Hazrat Usman Ghani (RA).ÑAPP
Egyptian envoy calls on Shafqat
LAHORE: The Ambassador of Egypt in Pakistan, Dr. Mahmoud El-Said, called on the Punjab Minister for Information, Culture, Youth Affairs, Transport and Environment, Shafqat Mahmood here on Monday. He remained with the minister for some time and exchange views on matters of mutual interest. The minister apprised him of different steps being taken by the provincial government for the welfare and socio-economic up-lift of the common man.ÑAPP
PMA meeting 28th
LAHORE: A meeting of the central council of Pakistan Medical Association (PMA), will be held on March 28 to discuss and consider process of autonomy of hospitals in the Punjab.
