First PIA Haj flight arrives in Lahore

Lahore: The return of Hujjaj from the holy land of Saudi Arabia started and the first PIA flight PK-1502, carrying 433 Hujjaj reached here Monday from Jeddah.

Lahore Airport District Manager Mahmood Talat and PIA officials received the Hujjaj, who were also garlanded on arrival.

PIA post-Haj Flight operation, which started on March 20 would continue till April 14, when the last flight will land at the Lahore Airport.

Sources said about 24,000 Hujjaj belonging to Lahore and adjoining areas would return home by 60 special flights.
