KARACHI: The Export Promotion Bureau has extended the date for depositing balance of 70 % premium by the successful bidders of the first quota auction to March 30, 2000. The date has been extended due to holidays on account of Eid-ul-Azha and Pakistan Day.

A circular issued by the Textile Department of EPB has invited the attention of exporters to para 10 (ii) of EPB public notice of even No. dated 8.2.2000 regarding depositing of balance premium of 70% by the successful bidders.

In view of the holidays on account of Eid-ul-Azha and Pakistan Day, the EPB has extended the date for submission of the balance deposit by the successful bidders of Ist auction of growth quota to March 30, 2000, the cirIt has asked the bidders to deposit the balance amount of 70% at the earliest but not later than March 30, 2000. No further extension will be allowed, the circular added. Terms and condition for allocation of auction quota will remain the same.
