RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: The Karachi Port handled a total 65,380 tonnes of cargo, including 56,997 tonnes of import and 8,383 tonnes of export, during last 24 hours.

Of the total cargo handled, 22,983 tonnes was dry and 42,397 tonnes liquid cargo.

The ships due to arrive at port on Thursday are: Wen Hai-252, Athenian Valour, Dubai, Oriental Bridge and Huanan.

The ship expected to sail on Thursday is Swat:

Port Qasim

A cargo volume of 24,636 tonnes, exclusively imports, comprising 7,136 tonnes edible oil and 7,500 tonnes was handled during last 24 hours in addition to 1,368 container (Teus).

Contship Champion was sailed on Wednesday.

Blantyre and Silver Yang were expected to sail on Wednesday.

Following vessels are currently at the outer anchorage: Agha-I, Oinousissian Navigator and Bonga Saga Satu.

Bunga Saga Satu was expected to take berth at iron ore and coal berth of Port Qasim on Wednesday.
