KESC urges

consumers to

pay bills timely

KARACHI: The Karachi Electrical Supply Corporation (KESC) Managing Director, Syed Shahid Mukhtar Shah, has urged general consumers to pay bills in time to help create a better working environment for organisation staff and strengthen it financially, saying such an approach would enable the corporation to offer them better service.

He was talking to citizen's delegation comprising the Chairman, Citizen Peace Committee, Maulana Hanif, and member, KESC Mohallah Coordination committee, which called on him at his office here on Thursday.

He assured them that despite limited resources KESC will continue to provide trouble-free services to its subscribers.

He disclosed that this year the organisation, in order to minimise power failures and fluctuations during coming summer, have undertaken major maintenance work on the city power distributory system.

Earlier the chairman of Citizen Peace Committee talking to the chairman said there is a visible improvement in the performance of KESC's complaint centres specially in distribution division-1 where number of power failures have gone down considerably.ÑPPI
