QUETTA: Eidul Azha was celebrated in Afghanistan on Thursday. Supreme leader of Taliban Mullah Muhammad Omer delivered Eid Sermon at Jamia Mosque Kandhar.

JUI Ameer Maulana Fazlur Rahman currently in Afghanistan offered Eid prayers at the same mosque.

In brief speeches on the occasion, Mullah Omer and Maulana Fazlur Rahman said Muslims are biggest force of the world but due to hypocracy, they face humiliation in every field Muslims of every state are being disgraced at the hands of Jews.

They said, if Muslims get united and hold fast Allah's rope they would be blessed by Almighty Allah and no Christian or Jew would dare to take any measure against Muslims.

After Eid prayers Mullah Omer and Maulana Fazlur Rahman embraced with people and exchanged Eid greetings. Strict security measures were taken on the occasion. Heavy artillery and anti-aircraft guns were deployed around the mosque with Taliban standing guard.ÑPPI
