KARACHI: Guwar and gram sector underwent variations on the seed and grain markets on Wednesday amid large business.

The export item, guwar, dropped uniformly by Rs 25 to Rs 1715 and fine type at Rs 1740.

Gram imported rose sharply on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha by Rs 100 to Rs 1925 and better type rose by Rs 105 to Rs 1965. Yellow peas shed Rs 40 to Rs 1250 and better type lost Rs 45 to Rs 1275. Dal yellow peas inferior dropped Rs 30 to Rs 1400 and better type shed Rs 20 to Rs 1430. Beetle I inferior was up by Rs 80 to Rs 2320 and better type up at Rs 2360. Dal beetle was up by Rs 80 to Rs 2620 and Rs 2660. Gram dal imported was down sharply at Rs 2200 and Rs 2280.

Urad Burma rose by Rs 5 to Rs 1050 and better type gained Rs 15 to Rs 1080.

Cotton cakes dropped Rs 5 to Rs 355.
