30,000 Haj visas issued by Karachi consulate
KARACHI: The Saudi Arabian Consul General in Karachi Mohammad Abdullah Tasji said here on Tuesday the number of Haj visas issued by the Karachi Consulate General of Saudi Arabia this Haj season has exceeded 30,000. These visas were issued in a very orderly manner to Pakistan Haj pilgrims who applied through the Pakistan Haj office in Karachi.
He disclosed that the issuance of Haj visas was completed on Friday last in Karachi. He disclosed that over 70,000 visas were issued by the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Islamabad for this Haj season. The entire operation was smooth.
Consul General Abdullah Tasji said that the arrangements for the Haj pilgrims this Haj season have been improved including provision of fireproof tents in Mina, better transportation and improved medical facilities as also provision of all kinds of food items needed by the pilgrims.
The flow of the pilgrims in the Haj sites was also orderly and controlled and the government of Khadim Al Haramain King Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz had done its best to provide maximum facilities and comfort to the Haj pilgrims.
The Saudi Consul General Tasji also prayed for the success of the soul-lifting journey of Haj of pilgrims from Pakistan and from other countries and assured that the government of Khadim Al Haramain King Fahd shall leave no stone unturned to keep improving the facilities for the Haj pilgrims in the Kingdom. He also wished a happy Haj and Eid-ul-Azha to the Pakistani pilgrims and Pakistani friends here.
