kill 33 in China
BEIJING: An explosion in an unlicensed firecracker factory in eastern China has killed 33 people and injured 10 others, two seriously, according to state media.
The explosion ripped through the workshop in a village outside Pingxiang city on Saturday, the official Xinhua News Agency reported late on Saturday.
The brief report said the factory, owned by two farmers, did not have a license and that the explosion's cause was under investigation.-AP
