Criminal case registered against Kulsoom, others
RECORDER REPORT
HYDERABAD: SHO Cantonment Police Station, Inspector Hamid Ali Thaheem here on Friday has registered a case against Begum Kulsoom Nawaz and PML leaders for making provocative speeches at the PML convention held at the residence of Rais Allah Bux Magsi, the district president of the party here on Thursday.
The case has been registered on behalf of the State under section 153, 153(A), 124 (A) of Pakistan Penal Code, Section 16 of Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance read with Section 7(A), and 7(B), Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 amended in 1999.
Besides Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, Rais Allah Bux Magsi, Afzal Gujjar, Imdad Chandio, Begum Tehmina Daultana, Shah Mohammad Shah, Mamnoon Hussain, Haleem Siddiqui, Ismail Rahu, Asghar Ghumman, Ms Ishrat Ashraf, Saud Ahmed Farooqi, Kanwar Jafar Ali, Rizwan Channar, Ali Bux Shah alias Pappu Shah, Roshan Baloch and Chaudhry Mazhar-ul-Haq have been nominated as accused in the FIR.
The FIR charged that the above speakers had incited the people against the present government and Pak Army and also tried to create hatred and enmity against the government.
The FIR further said that they had also announced to commit self-immolation and also tried to incite the people to do likewise.
The FIR also accused the PML leaders of trying to create breach of peace and unrest among the people and inciting them to take the law into their own hands.
