Four die in

road mishap

LAYYAH: Four persons including a woman teacher and her two children were killed when the cycle rickshaw they were riding in collided with a tractor on Layyah bypass on Thursday.

Shamshad and her colleague were riding a cycle rickshaw to drop their children to schools.

Near Layyah bypass, the woollen coverlet of the rickshaw driver was entangled in the chain due to which the rickshaw went out of the driver's control and collided with the tractor coming from the opposite direction.

Shamshad and her two children died on the spot while her colleague and the rickshaw driver received serious injuries. They were rushed to the district hospital where the driver succumbed to his injuries.

Police have registered the case.ÑPPI
