CBR abolishes more posts

ISLAMABAD: The Central Board of Revenue has abolished some more posts in the second phase of re-structuring the institution affecting the posts of Secretary, Sales Tax Administration; Chief of Budget and Accounts and Director of Projects.

Instead the Secretary Customs and Excise has been asked to look after the Sales Tax also and has been placed under Member incharge of Sales Tax.

The post of Secretary, Direct Taxation will be manned by the officer from APUG.

The Board has also decided that the services of the CBR officials transferred from the surplus pool will be surrendered to the Establishment Division

But the rooms vacated by the officers made OSD will be locked and the staff attached with them will be given new assignments.
