Auto-parts show on 18th

KARACHI: Pakistan auto-parts show 2000 will be held on January 18 to 22 at EPB exhibition complex, it is officially stated here on Friday.

Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) is organising this grand show in collaboration with Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM).

Around 110 exhibitors including leading international automobile companies like Pak-Suzuki, Indus Motor Company (Toyota Motors), Honda Atlas, Gandhara Nissan, Volvo Pakistan, Hino Pak, Daewoo Motors, Dawood Yamaha, etc are displaying their products.

The show is designed to display the engineering base of Pakistan particularly in parts and accessories manufacturing.

For the first time, international exhibitors will display their products.

PAAPAM had already held two auto part shows in 1996 and 1997.

Pakistan has been exporting auto parts to USA, Europe, Sri Lanka, Japan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Australia, Iran, Gulf, Saudi Arabia and Spain.

A seminar will also be held at the show on auto parts export from Pakistan.

The Planning Commission, Ministry of Industries and Production, Ministry of Communication, Engineering Development Board of Pakistan and Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers Association are also assisting in organisation of show. APP
