Justice Ajmal takes

oath as PHC CJ

PESHAWAR: Justice Mian Mohammad Ajmal, Senior Judge of the Peshawar High Court, on Thursday, was sworn in as the new Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court.

NWFP Governor Lt Gen Muhammad Shafiq (Retd), administered the oath to the new Chief Justice at a simple but impressive ceremony held at Government House.

The ceremony was attended by judges of the Peshawar High Court, provincial ministers, advocate general, Deputy Attorney General, Corps Commander Peshawar Saeed-uz-Zafar, Air Vice Marshal Syed Qaiser Hussain, IG Frontier Corps, Maj Gen Sultan Habib, Member of High Court Bar Association and Lower Courts Bar Association, Lawyers, Chief Secretary NWFP, IG Police and high ranking officials of the provincial government.ÑAPP
