Foreign envoys meet CE

ISLAMABAD: Ambassadors of Palestine, Sultanate of Oman, South Korea and France paid courtesy calls on Chief Executive General Pervez Musharraf here on Thursday.

The ambassadors exchanged views with the chief executive on matters of mutual interest.

The envoys conveyed messages to the chief executive from their heads of government and expressed the desire for further strengthening and augmenting bilateral relations.

They also conveyed support for the reform agenda of the government and appreciated the positive initiatives taken by the chief executive for enhancing peace and security in the region.

The ambassadors, who separately called on the chief executive, included Ahmed Abdel Razzaq El-Salman of Palestine, Yousuf Bin Mohammad Bin Dawood Shalwani of the Sultanate of Oman, Yoon Jee-Joon of South Korea and Yannick Gerard of France.

Foreign Secretary Shamshad Ahmed was present during the meetings. APP
