Dawood reviews PIDC performance

KARACHI: Commerce Minister Abdul Razak Dawood on Thursday attended the briefing of Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) here at its head office.

Industries Secretary Abu Shamim Arif and other senior officials of the ministry and the PIDC were present on the occasion.

PIDC Chairman Zahid Husain briefed the minister about the past performance and future plan to boost industrialisation in the country.

He also briefed the minister about various industrial projects which the PIDC is planning to undertake through joint ventures with private sector investors including processing and grading of good, storage and CNG refuelling stations.

Later, a team of Al-Meezan Investment Bank Limited briefed the minister about its sick industrial units revival plan. APP
