CIA nabs two alleged dacoits

KARACHI: CIA police have arrested two accused identified as Jaffar Abbas and Asim alias Jony from Garden area, a police statement said on Thursday.

The accused belong to a group of dacoits. Two pistols with seven rounds were recovered from their possession.

Two of the accomplices of the accused managed to escape but police are conducting raids for their arrest, it was stated.

Police statement said both the accused had tried to escape under the cover of firing while seeing police.

It said the accused were roaming in the area with the intention of committing dacoity.

In another raid, CIA police arrested accused Mustafa Javed alias Pupu against who cases are registered at Sharifabad police station on the charges of murder, dacoity and rioting. APP
