2000010712 hurt in Indian train blast
NEW DELHI: A blast on a train standing at old Delhi railway station in the Indian capital injured at least 12 people on Thursday, police said.
"Twelve people have been injured in the blast, no one is serious," a police officer told Reuters.
The blast occured over an hour before the departure of the train to Saharanpur in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh and only the first few passengers had taken their seats.
"The casualties were limited because not many people were inside," Rajbir Sharma, a senior police official told Reuters.
No one had so far claimed responsibility for the blast, he said.-Reuters
