7 IT officers given additional assignments

Islamabad: Seven officers of income tax group have been given additional assignments with immediate effect.

The Central Board of Revenue has issued notifications here on January 5, 2000.

Saquib Bashir, Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals-III), Lahore will hold additional charge of Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals), Gujranwala; Mazhar Farooq Shirazi, Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals-IV), Lahore will also hold the charge of Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals), Sialkot; Mirza Ghazanfar Baig, Commissioner of Income Tax, Zone-C, Lahore has been given additional assignment as Director (Withholding Tax) Lahore; Salman Nabi, Commissioner of Income Tax, Rawalpindi Zone, Rawalpindi will also work as Director (Withholding Tax), Islamabad.

Javed Athar, Commissioner of Income Tax (BS-20) Appeals-I, Faisalabad will hold additional charge of Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals-II), Faisalabad.

Syed Ali Nasir Bokhari, Appellate Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, Sukkur has been given additional assignment as Appellate Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, Quetta.

Javed Tahir Butt, Chief (DTO), Central Board of Revenue, Islamabad will hold additional charge of Director, Intelligence and Investigation (Direct Taxes), Islamabad.
