18 injured in

bus-wagon collision

NANKANA SAHIB: In a head-on collision between a bus and a wagon, 18 persons including women and drivers of both vehicles sustained severe injuries on Wednesday night on the Nankana Sahib-Buchiana Road.

According to details, bus No. LH-2700 heading towards Jaranwala collided with wagon No. SL-3264 coming from the opposite direction near village Kot Sadhu Ram on Nankana-Buchiana road, as a result of which 18 persons received serious injuries.

The injured persons were rushed to the Tehsil headquarters Hospital, Nankana Sahib, where those with severe injuries were referred to Mayo Hospital, Lahore. They are Siraj Din and his wife Ramzan Bibi, Mohammad Aslam and his wife Farzana, bus driver Bashir Ahmad and wagon driver Mohammad Akram, as well as three other women namely Naziran Bibi, Shamim Bibi and Fauzia Abbas.ÑAPP
