Australia dollar, bonds up on Nov trade data

SYDNEY: The Australian dollar and bond futures edged higher after the November trade deficit came in below median expectations.

The balance of goods and services showed a seasonally adjusted deficit of A$1.125 billion against forecasts of a A$1.4 billion shortfall.

The dollar was at US$0.6552/57 from a pre-data level of US$0.6549/54, while the 10-year bond futures inched up to 92.910 from 92.890 in immediate reaction to the report.-Reuters
