Depts told to submit progress reports
KARACHI: The Sindh chief secretary Mohammad Zubair Kidwai on Monday directed all provincial departments to submit weekly progress report regarding implementation as suggested by the army monitoring teams.
These directives were issued following the highs level meeting which was held on Saturday, to review the reports submitted by the army monitoring teams regarding the progress and performance of all provincial departments.
The additional chief secretary, Sindh senior member board of revenue and all secretaries of provincial departments and a Brigadier of Corpse 5 attended the meeting.
The army monitoring teams had prepared these reports on the basis of the briefing by all the provincial departments as well as through its own intelligence network.
These reports pointed out various irregularities, incidents of corruption and poor performance in these departments.
The chief secretary has also instructed the departments that he will hold a fortnightly meeting to review the progress and implementations of all the decisions taken at the meeting.
The progress and implementation report will be submitted to the Chief Executive General Pervez Musharraf on his directive, by positively June 2000. APP
