KARACHI: Gram varieties rose while variations were also marked elsewhere on the week opening day.

Gram garda rose by Rs. 45 to Rs. 2030, and better type gained Rs. 70 to Rs. 2070. Beetle I rose by Rs. 65 to Rs. 2125 to Rs. 2150. Fifty fifty rose by Rs. 20 to Rs. 2000 better type was up by Rs. 70 to Rs. 2090.

Basmati old inferior rose by Rs. 50 to Rs. 2,000 and better type was up by Rs. 25 to Rs. 2325.

Gur better type lost Rs. 15 to Rs. 1650.

On the cereals side, tuver Punjab was quoted higher at Rs. 2450. Urad Burma rose by Rs. 25 to Rs. 975 and better type rose by same amount to Rs. 1,000.

Rapeseed Nawabshah was quoted at Rs. 575 to Rs. 600 rapeseed cakes rose by Rs. 2 to Rs. 177 and better type by same amount to Rs. 180.
