Shafi elected FCB president

FAISALABAD: Hafiz Mohammad Shafi was elected President and Alhaj Nawaz Wohra patron-in-chief of the Faisalabad Cloth Board (FCB) for the next three years.

Addressing the annual general meeting of the Faisalabad Cloth Board, Hafiz Muhammad Shafi and Alhaj Nawaz Wohra pledged that they would hecticly struggle for the solution to the problems of the FCB members.

They rejected outrigh the General Sales Tax (GST) and demanded that the GST on retail business be completely withdrawn.

The meeting expressed deep concern over deletion of the words 'Islami Jamhooria Pakistan' and 'Khatim-e-Nabuwat' from the oath taken by the judges of the Supreme Court and high courts, under the Provisional Constitutional Order (PCO).
