Indian atrocities can't

deter Kashmiris liberation struggle: APHC

ISLAMABAD: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has expressed grave concern over killinmg of innocent Kashmiris and disgracing of women.

It urged the world community to take urgent and effective steps to stop gross human rights violations by the Indian occupation troops, reports KMS.

The APHC spokesman in Srinagar on Sunday described collective killing of five labourers and injuring two others at Wagoora, in Budgam area, as a sign of military nervousness.

He said, after this heinous crime, the troops besieged villages around Wagoora and carried out violent house raids. He also strongly reacted against arrest of five women at Fatehkadal, in Srinagar.

The arrests of these women sparked furious anti-India demonstrations. Daily activities in the locality came to a standstill.

An APHC team visited Fatehkadal for on the spot probe of the situation. It siad Kashmiris could not be deterred from their struggle for liberation by an amount of Indian atrocities.

It reitereated that the struggle would continue at all costs and mission of the martyrs would be accomplished. The team included, Bashir Ahmad, advocate, Shaikh Ali Muhammad advocate, and five other liberation activists.

Meanwhile, the occupation troops raided a house at Buttkadal in Srinagar, arrested one, Maulvi Manzoor Ahmad Najar and killed him in custody.

Many houses were ransacked and inmates were beaten and wounded. Spontaneous strike was observed in the area and hundreds of people attended funderal of the martyr, raising anti-India slogans.

House of Engineer, Muhammad Maqbool was blasted at Hathipura, in Spore, while at Mirnar, in Kupwara house of one, Habibullah was burnt by troops.

Bichri area of 'Ganderbal is under military siege for the past three days and violent search operation is underway. Repressive military action in areas near Sopore sparked anti-India demonstrations.

Reports from Rajouri say, the Mujahideen in a daring attack, burst into a military camp at Taabra, and opened firing which created chaos. Six troops were reported killed and injured.

Mujahideen seized arms and ammunition and returned safely to their hideouts. At Balakot a military patrol was ambushed. One troop was killed and two injured.

In another Mujahideen action at Kalaband, several troops were reported killed and injured. The troops suffered several casualties in an encounter with Mujahideen in Doda area. Two Mujahideen were reported martyred.

Dozens of Kashmiris, arrested in Jammu, following the recent bomb blast, are being severely tortured in custody.

It was reported from Calcutta, that two Kashmiris, Shawl sellers were mercilessly killed by cutting their throats.

Meanwhile, President of Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Front, Pandit Boshan Bazaz, in his letter to the Indian Prime Minister after his visit to Jammu area has described the situation in occupied Kashmir, as explosive.

He said, that the situation could not be normalised by the use of brute force. The only way out, he emphasised, was a sincere tripartite dialogue among parties to the dispute India. Pakistan and Kashmiris. He urged Indian PM to adopt realistic attitude about Kashmir in India's own interest.ÑAPP
