18 killed in Indian truck accident
NEW DELHI: A truck loaded with sugar overturned on a busy highway on Sunday, crushing two vehicles and killing 18 people, the Press Trust of India said.
The accident happened in the northern state of Punjab, about 30 km (20 miles) from the town of Ludhiana. The victims, all from the crushed two vehicles, included seven women and four children.
