FWBL introduces insurance coverage scheme

KARACHI: The First Women Bank Limited (FWBL) has introduced an insurance coverage scheme "First Protection Plan" which will provide coverage to its account holders against accidental death worldwide.

For this new product, FWBL has made arrangements with New Hampshire Company, a member company of American International Group Insurance.

All FWB account holders between 12 years to 70 years of age are eligible to get coverage.

Account holders have to pay Rs 15 per month or only 50 paisa a day, for the risk coverage against accidental death anywhere in the world.

In case of accidental death of the account-holder company will provide a guaranteed minimum coverage of Rs 50,000.

The maximum benefit that an account holder will get is Rs 500,000.
