Brig Ijaz made Punjab home secretary

LAHORE: The Punjab Government has posted Brig. Ijaz Ahmed Shah as secretary to the Home Department with immediate effect.

A notification issued here on Saturday said:

On placement of his services on secondment / deputation at the disposal of the government of Punjab, PA-10184 Brig. Ijaz Ahmed Shah, is posted with immediate effect as secretary to the government of the Punjab, Home Department, vice Tariq Mahmud, transferred. Terms and conditions of secondment/deputation will be settled separately.

The notification further said that Tariq Mahmud, Secretary, Home Department, has been transferred and posted as the secretary, Information, Culture and Youth Affairs Department, against a vacant post.
