Narcotics, fake currency,

arms recovered from Pindi Districts

RAWALPINDI: Police arrested seven accused from different parts of the district and recovered huge quantity of narcotics.

Westridge, Mandra and Pir Widhai Police arrested three accused Sumbal Khan s/o Nadir Khan, Nazir Mohammad s/o Wali Mohammad and Zahid Mahmood and recovered 7 kilograms, 2 kilograms and 105 kilograms charas from them respectively.

Pir Widhai police arrested one Wahid Gul resident of Takht Bhai and recovered 4 kilograms poppy flake from him while 30 grams heroin was recovered from Mahmood Ramzan of Sialkot.

Civil Lines police recovered 210 grams heroin from a woman Pervein Akhtar.

Meanwhile, CIA police arrested one Javed Ali Chan resident of Kohat and recovered twelve fake currency notes of one hundred denomination.

Rawalpindi police during crackdown against illegal arms arrested one Mohammed Bashir and recovered one 12 bore rifle form him. Accused was wanted in a case of attempted murder.

Mandra police recovered one 7 MM rifle from an accused Abdul Rehman.

Pir Widhai police arrested one Sattar Khan and recovered a 30 bore pistol, 25 rounds, two magazines and 3 Kilashnikovs magazine. Cases have been registered against all the accused.ÑAPP
