Indian firing kills 2 in AJK

MUZAFFARABAD: At least two persons including a woman were killed while two others sustained severe injuries due to unprovoked and indiscriminate Indian firing and shelling in Leepa and Chakoti sectors, near the cease fire line in AJK on mid Saturday night and Sunday official said here.

According to report, in the first incident Muhammad Hanif son of Rahmat Ullah resident of Galla Qilla in Leepa valley embraced martyrdom, whereas two others Javed and Altaf of the same village received severe injuries when brute Indian troops resorted to heavy shelling and firing on civilian inhabitants of the area with heavy automatic weapons.

In the second incident, Indian Army continued firing and shelling with intervals on civilaians with automatic weapons and mortars resultanly Sakina Bibi wife of Akber resident of Tosrahabad in Chakoti sector was killed on the spot, the official said. APP
