Pak fishermen

THATTA: Two Pakistani fishermen were killed in firing by Indian Navy within Pakistani territorial waters on Friday.

A fishing launch was fishing in Pakistani waters near Kajar when it was fired upon by an Indian Naval launch, resulting in death of Haji Umar Shoro resident of Deh Mor Chhadai, Taluka Kharochhan and Aaroo Jat resident of Chhachh Jahan Khan Taluka Jati. Twenty other fishermen on board the launch survived.

However, Pakistani launch managed to sail out and reached the coast along with the bodies. The matter was reported to administration, which took the bodies to their native villages for burial. Investigations were under way.ÑAPP
